Visitors have been going 'hog wild' over the birth of five new piglets at Bucklebury Farm Park,near Thatcham who were born last week.

The five cute youngsters are finding their trotters on the farm after proud mum Belle produced the as yet, unnamed quintet early last Tuesday morning.

They are already proving to be a big favourite with visitors,talking to the Chronicle Danny Kidby-Hunter said: “The Piglets have proved a big draw and children are being given a chance to try 'pig-washing' which is great fun.We also have provided 'Piggy Ice-Lollies' made from strawberries,grapes,tomatoes and carrots.”

The Berkshire pig is classified as a 'rare breed' and there are fewer than 300 breeding sows left globally.
