THE family of a young man who died in a collision in Newbury on Saturday has released a tribute in his memory.
Wayne Angell, 29, died at the scene on the A339 Greenham Road at around 7.40am last Saturday (January 9), after the single-vehicle crash involving his blue BMW.
The tribute released by his family reads: "Wayne Michael Angell was sadly taken from us on the 9th January 2016. He was a well loved son, brother, uncle, father, grandson and partner to Amy. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
"Angels East, Angels West, watch over Wayne, while he rests.
"If anyone would like to make donations please do so via Geoffrey Church funeral directors in Thatcham."
The stretch of road between the Burger King roundabout and Tesco roundabout was closed off to drivers in both directions while paramedics attended the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
