FIREFIGHTERS cut the roof off a BMW to free a trapped man.
Paramedics, police and two fire engines were called to the B4000 at 6.30pm yesterday (Friday, March 25) after a BMW and Polo travelling towards Lambourn collided.
Crew manager Jason Cunningham from Newbury fire station said: "One man on the passenger side of the BMW was trapped.
"The paramedics asked us to take the roof off so they could get him out on a back board."
He said noone in the other car had been trapped and the crew left the scene three hours after they arrived.
