POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a car who may have seen the fatal collision between a cyclist and a van in Newbury yesterday.
Emergency services were called Hambridge Road at 10.17am but the 53-year-old cyclist from Newbury was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed but police are urging people who saw the collision, in particular a driver who was approaching the scene at the time, to call them on 101.
