A MAN has been charged with murder after his wife was found dead at their home in Newbury.
Nigel Talman was arrested on Sunday morning and charged with the murder of his 62-year-old wife Sandra last night who was found dead at their flat in Carnarvon Place, off Andover Road.
Police were called to reports of a domestic incident at the home at around 7.28am on Sunday where they found Mrs Talman’s body and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
A post-mortem investigation concluded that she died as a result of compression to the neck.
Mr Talman, 60, is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.
