MOTORISTS can expect severe delays in Newbury as thousands of people return from a major horseracing meeting.

The A4 and other major routes near Newbury Racecourse are all heavily congested as revellers make their way home from the Betfair Free Friday - rescheduled after the Betfair Super Saturday was cancelled last Friday due to freezing conditions
