POLICE are appealing for witnesses after burglars smashed their way into a petrol station in Hungerford and stole cigarettes.
Three burglars, all wearing balaclavas and hooded tops, broke into the Shell garage in Bath Road between 10-11pm on Friday, July 11, by smashing through the glass panel on the front door. Two of them then went into the store and stole cigarettes and food.
A green Subaru estate car, driven by someone wearing a white hooded top, was seen in a the area and police are urging witnesses to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
