MALCOLM Thwaites won Division One of the men’s May medal at West Berks with a nett 75, while Lee Robson was one shot behind in second place and Mark Charlton a further shot behind third.
Gary Abraham shot a nett 71 to win Division Two followed by Alexander Anderson with 73 and Monty Kingston 74, while Tim Wickstead won Division Three with 79, four shots clear of Jason Read who beat Darren Galbraith into second place on count-back.
Pete Ford won the midweek stableford with 38 points, one shot clear of Jock Douglas who beat Dave Ware on count-back to claim second place, while Stuart King won the Saturday stableford, also with 38 points. Andrew Grayson was second with 37 and Simon Clifford third on 33.
Jane Brackenbury won the Turner Davies Trophy with 36 points followed by Jan Francis on 33 and Babs Collyer with 29.
Meanwhile the men’s team lost 4-2 away to Oxford in a friendly fixture.
