READING CC all-rounder Martin Andersson retains his place in the Berkshire squad to play Wiltshire at Corsham in their annual challenge match for the Marlborough Cup on Sunday (11am), writes Dave Wright.

He was his team’s top scorer with 41 runs when they lost by one wicket off the last ball of the game to a Middlesex XI at Falkland two weeks ago.

Last season’s player of the year Chris Peploe, Stewart Davison and Euan Woods, who all missed the Middlesex game, are named in Tom Lambert’s 12-man squad.

Henley paceman Tom Nugent is also included, having played for Loughborough MCCU against Leicestershire this week.

Sunday’s match has been switched to Corsham CC as the original venue, Calne, is not playable.
