The stars of a hit West End show have been added to the line-up of Norden Farm’s Christmas show.

War Horse actor Robin Guiver and puppeteer Michael Brett will join the cast of Kipper’s Snowy Day which runs until Sunday, December 28.

Mr Guiver has worked in theatre, film and television.

He is an actor, puppeteer and movement director and as an actor he played Geordie in the original West End cast of War Horse and has appeared in two award-winning short films – Lola and Pebble.

His work in movement and puppetry includes extensive work as a movement artist.

He was the original puppeteer and voice for William Whiskerson in BBC Learnings’ The Adventures of William Whiskerson. Mr Brett was puppeteer for both Joey and Topthorn in the West End show.

He trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has performed as an actor and puppeteer in productions including The Night Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland and Faeries at The Royal Opera House. He is senior puppeteer on CBBC’s Strange Hill High.

He has worked as a movement and puppetry director for various companies including co-movement director with Robin Guiver for Animal Farm at Clwyd Theatr Cymru. The pair have both worked on Muppets Most Wanted, which Michael was a senior puppeteer on, and on hit feature film Gravity as movement artists.

They join Amy Tweed who starred in One Snowy Night, Norden Farm’s Christmas show in 2010, and toured with Miki, the show from 2011. She has appeared on stage across the UK, including in Danny The Champion of the World (Birmingham Stage Company, UK tour) and at the Edinburgh Festival and Bestival with The River People.

She is also a musician and enjoys playing regularly with theatrical folk band The Waggon Band.

The show brings author Mick Inkpen’s famous dog Kipper to life.
