The Crusaders beat seventh-placed Poole Town 2-0 at Bulpit Lane thanks to goals in either half from in-form Stefan Brown.
The win sees them move to within touching distance of the play-off places and they will climb up to fourth in the table if they win their game in hand on Cambridge City and Stourbridge.
Bobby Wilkinson's men will be hopeful of making it 10 in a row when they host basement side Bashley next Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
